Triton is delighted to announce that the business recently received a silver rating with EcoVadis.

EcoVadis is a globally recognised platform that rates and continually monitors companies’ corporate social responsibility management and progress, while offering tools to drive improvement. Their assessment aims to identify areas within businesses that can be improved, bettering CSR practises and providing a better understanding of areas of success and improvement. Having currently rated over 125,000 companies from more than 180 different countries in over 200 different industries, EcoVadis is a comprehensive and well-respected platform for businesses looking to assess and improve their sustainability practises.

Triton has been ranked in EcoVadis’ top 15% of companies assessed, and in the 92nd percentile. Furthermore, the rating also places Triton in the top 4% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the manufacture of domestic appliances industry.

The silver rating validates Triton's corporate adherence to 21 recognised CSR criteria which follow verifiable, international CSR standards.

The evaluation scores companies on a range of criteria, which are grouped across 4 different areas – environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Triton proudly achieved a high score in the environment category, with environmental policy on product end-of-life being a particular strength. Triton’s recently established Circularity Department has had a significant, positive impact on this score, as the business turns its focus to understanding how more circular practises can help reach its ambitious Net Zero goals. Although proud to achieve a silver rating, Triton recognises that there is still room to improve. The EcoVadis assessment highlights areas that the business can focus on to help improve and by extension, help to reach Net Zero by 2035.

Triton recognises the good progress made and encourages customers and partners to continue to join them on their journey as they implement further changes across the business in the pursuit of its Net Zero goals.
